The staff were friendly and enthusiastic as was Andy the curator who was happy to take the time to share some of his expansive knowledge and enthusiasm onto myself and my two boys. He even kindly gave me a copy of a DVD he made called "Memoirs of a Spectrum Addict" which in itself should be saved as a historic documentary on the thoughts of the many developers and programmers at the time. A truly wonderful place and well worth the very reasonable entrance fee. If we didn't live 3 hours away we would be back a lot more often!

Lots of software (on cassette tape, floppy disc and games cartridge) plus a multi player network game.

Also a library of computer magazines (some of which I remember reading when they were published) and some other things - such as a Sinclair C5 and a Lara Croft statue all go to make this a great day out.

Opening hours are short but that's not a problem.

There is parking just outside but not much; as it's only open at weekends it may be possible to park in some of the other spaces - but I'd check first.

One of the gentleman running the museum the day we visited was even good enough to allow us to have a go on the surprisingly awesome early 90's arcade VR headsets, which is something I'd never think I'd get a chance to do!
