Title: Other peoples 'stuff' . . .
Post by: AndyRCM on January 26, 2011, 10:19:22 PM
Other peoples machines that we are showing at our weekender :)
Max Hall (maxhall) has asked if he can show one of his new 'souped up' BBCs - I have said yes to him.
We may need to leave room for a couple of Amigas - for use in some football competition (lol). This is to be confirmed.
Simon Hardy (Questor) will be bringing some lovely Dragon kit with him - now part of the RCM admin team too! :)

People displaying/selling stuff :)
Attic Bug will be making an appearance - more details to follow about this.
Steve Rich (filecore) will be having a table selling some lovely retro systems/software etc! ;)

As most of you know my (AndyRCM) brain is frazzled 90% of the time so if you have already asked me to keep you a table - can you either tell me again via PM or on this thread! ;)

Andy - More than happy to bring a Dragon 200 for hands on playing instead of the usual RCM D64 - Will try and get hold of the multiboot cart again for the event as it means its hands off.

I can also bring any of the following if needed (let me know):

1. Amiga A1200 - WHDLoad with all the games on it - Configured to boot into the iGame menu.
2. CGL\Sord M5 - Will have to load software via laptop as I don't have much for it.
3. Einstein 256
4. Possibly - Electron with Turbo and Disk Drive etc.

Depending on what you want/need I may need to lean on RCM for some TV/Monitors as I only have a couple.

And if I get time at the unit during Feb\March I will get the cab I am donating up and running with MAME again. It has a fully working coin mechanism for "donations" - It also has a credit button for those of limited funds.

If all goes to plan I will finaly be able to bring my very modded Atari 600XL, a 1200XL if there is any interest + SDrive_nuxx, 8 meg flash cart loaded with games, and a 16 player multijoy interface.
RGB Scart Atari 7800, the new XM expansion module and any games that are available for the XM by then

Multiple Classic Computer ...

If I can get this box fully up and running, I wouldn't mind showing it off a bit. I have a TV, MCC ( quite small ), a couple of Joysticks and a Keyboard. Small in table surface space and would only need two power sockets.

Nice one Andy, will be bringing the 128k master system I think, with USB dongle, and IDE HD support built in, for serious instant loading. and a disk drive for old skool loading, Will bring my Tatung monitor to to run it on, (looks great on the Einstien monitor) and a joystick and interface so we can sit and play Elite 128! (if I can fit it all in my little car!) looking forward to event.

All the best
MAx

Nay... not modem style. More like LAN style :)

Need some software that uses Econet without requiring a server though....

Well take the lid off, yes. The module plugs into purpose-made sockets on the mainboard.

No worries though :)

Anything that anyone wants me to bring ? I couldn't make the last show as it was too close to R3play, but the two before that I brought the AtomClone, however that's not really a gaming machine.

I could bring Beebs / Dragons etc my collection list is posted elsewhere :)

I'll prolly be bringing at least one ZX81, as I would like to try my ULA replacement with SirMorris' ZXPAND (if possible).

Cheers.

Phill.
