Top notch.  Great location, good range of systems, friendly staff (both RCM and Snibston).  The kids loved it (one Saturday, both Sunday).  When's the next one?

Thanks to the organisers - great job!

Still grinning from all the fun i had today (sunday).
We had a great 5 hours of josh learning there was gaming before 360 and me remembering all the systems and games i played when i was younger.
I even picked up a master system 2 with 5 games for a tenner!

All in all a great event in a cracking venue with wonderful staff.

Thankyou.

The Welsh film crew were filming for a programme that will be aired in the new year on S4C. I will be getting a copy of it (with subtitles) as soon as possible. I will let you know when we can get it shown.

Guys n gals, chalk up another great event, you did RCM proud once again. Great to see so many new faces too, hope to see you all at future events.

Great selection of systems on offer Andy so top marks for putting it together mixing the usual favorites with some of the obscure and modded. Layout and venue was great with enough room to swing an Amstrad. My only regret was getting so engrossed I ran out of time to look around the other exhibitions :)

P.s does anyone know the name of he Gyruss type game playing on the QL?

P.p.s HUGE Thanks to Mike, Jon and Richard for the cool toys.

Thanks for a great event.

The venue and layout was superb!

The retail stalls are a big plus point for me, i came home with a boot full of retro goodies!

We had a great time on Sunday. A nice mix of people and systems. Particularly nice to see the proto-dragon and Einstien 256.

See you next time :-)

Cheers,

Andy.

Droid something or other on the QL.  Anything is better than that BMX game :)

Great venue - much easier to sort out than Swannington.  Although their food prices are a little *ouch* but with a recommended (by others) chippy around the corner and Asda the other way, those on a budget can still stuff their face.

And their coffee's nice too (albeit not a patch on a Costa, but I'm just a tad biased!) :)

What a great weekend, and perfect choice of venue for RCM on the road!  I'm glad I went for both days; too many machines to pack in to one :)  Finally got hands on with a _working_ Vectrex (great fun), and the Amiga CD32, but completely missed the PC Engine :(  Oh well, next time ;)

My hat is off to everyone involved in setting this up.   8)

PS.
Does anyone know which version of Burnout is on the RCM xbox?  Takedown or Revenge?  Ebay awaits... >:-)

Glad you enjoyed it :)

I believe that was Burnout 3: Takedown on the XBox.

An excellent event. It was great for my game development students to get to both see and operate such a huge variety of machines dating right back. Based on the massive difference in graphics capabilities when comparing old and new tech one of the students observed that 'gameplay' was the most important factor. A real blast from the past for me too. This was my first RCM event, I hope to attend more, and more frequently.

Cracking time as usual!

Really liked the new venue, plenty of car parking and easier to spot too.

Inside was really nice, too. The previous venue was fine dont get me wrong, but it just seemed a bit more spread out this time and was nice having a bit more room.

I think in my opinion, its definitely worth doing again at Snibston. The addition of the museum ticket was a nice little bonus and I expect people bringing a long the " little un's" would have found this most beneficial.

Its nice to see the RCM grow, seeing lots of new faces. Still love that theres people of all ages attending the events too, really nice to see. Every RCM event I attend seems to get better and better, and as I said on the day, im glad its not another replay. Really like the community aspect of the RCM.

Oh and the stalls were spot on too!
