Title: Game Boy 'flash carts'
Post by: jack_farmer on March 21, 2015, 06:48:05 PM
Hi,

After picking up a new Game Boy Pocket today (a really cool custom orange and transparent one, just like new too!) I was wondering if there was such a thing as a Game Boy flash cart, or flash card, or whatever you call it. I was thinking of something similar to an R4 for a Nintendo DS, that would let me download a library of games onto said flashcard and play them; instead of buying and lugging around actual cartridges. So, firstly are they a real thing? If so, where can I find one?

Thanks in 'advance' (not supposed to be a pathetic Game Boy pun, I swear),
Jack

There should be if you look in the right places but if worst comes to worst there is always bootleg multi arts which can be found in the bargain basement at retrogames.co.uk

Thanks Jack! Come to think of it, we'd been talking about that website ages ago, I think. It seems to be much cheaper than buying games on eBay! I'll take a look tonight at what they offer.
