Title: BBC B computer help please
Post by: traindriver69 on October 31, 2018, 06:18:39 PM
Hi all
I Have just picked up a BBC computer and plugged it in and just get a continuous beep with two lights lit and no picture.
So I opened it up to investigate further but a little unsure which version I have on the motherboard it says
0233,000 ISS 1 copyright 1984 and on the bottom case instead of a normal Acorn number it says
Cleartone Abercarn Gwent 105099.
Many thanks in advance

Start with:

If that doesn't help then remove all the socketed chips one at a time, clean pins and socket contacts and replace.

That should wake it up.
