Download files from

http://bitsavers.trailing-edge.com/bits/Alphatronic/CPM/
OR

https://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/www.bitsavers.org/bits/Alphatronic/CPM/

A 40 track bootable disk, it is 16 sectors.

You need a 40 track drive (360k) on the PC to write the disk.  If you have a 1.2MByte drive you can do it but need to add the -d option and start from a new 5.25 inch 40 track disk - or use a bulk eraser.

You will need SAMDisk, available on the internet
http://simonowen.com/samdisk/
then the commands are like

SAMdisk format -c40 -h2 -s16 -z1 -b1 -g54  b:

SAMdisk copy newsys.imd b:

HARDWARE/SYSTEMS DISCUSSION / Re: Triumph-Adler Alphatronic PC

I have actually got an emulator running with this machine.  It runs under linux and gnome.  I am not sure about releasing the disks/uveprom that come with the machine, but they are available on the net.  Look at the file matmos.cfg for the configuration file to use and start with xbeaver matmos.cfg once installed.

I also have the the technical manual scanned if that is of any help to anyone.

Look at http://81.105.120.101/xbeaver

Note this was originally an 80bus/nascom emulator but has been expanded to include the Intel MDS controllers and also the Alphatronic (Matmos) PC controllers.

Not 100% emulation, but good enough to run the basic roms, disk basic and the CPM distribution.
