GENERAL RETRO CHIT CHAT / Stuff for RCM etc...
« on: September 25, 2009, 08:01:36 AM »
Hello all
Due to an accident that happened yesterday I am having to re-schedule my life and make some changes at home. rather than go over the accident again if you look here you can read what happened http://www.amibay.com/viewtopic.php?f=86&t=3354

So first off is that I do not think I am going to get to Liverpool to see my mum before the RCM open day as Sharon will more than likely still require help. So won't be able to bring the stuff from blackpanther down as I had offered. (If things change and I can get up there I will let you know)

I need to clear a couple of things out my house to allow for moving a bed downstairs and to help navigate around the house without too many obsticals so I have available for RCM or anyone that wants...

1 Metal cabinet with shelves in, 6ft x 3ft x 18" deep with cantilever doors (each door folds in two when opening.
1 Wooden workbench 35"h x 47"w x 22"deep (the sort of thing you get from B&Q for your shed)

Both free for collection ASAP but you would need a van or large estate for the cabinet.

RCM ANNOUNCEMENTS / Member Database Question
« on: September 08, 2009, 10:30:41 AM »
Just a thought but I believe (I may be wrong) that to hold a database of members details you will need to sign up to the data protection act, http://www.ico.gov.uk/what_we_cover/data_protection.aspx

if so the cost is £35.00 per year.

Sorry to be a bringer of gloom but worth discussion/consideration if you have not already done so.

FOR SALE / WANTED / Epson HX-20
« on: September 05, 2009, 10:11:50 AM »
I have had this on Amibay with no interest so I will pop it on here, some of you may have seen it at the openday too. I can take it to Retro Reunited if you like.

"I am clearing a little more out so here is my Epson "notebook" see here for piccys of it. http://www.amibay.com/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=1960

To the best of my knowledge it is in good working order with one exception which is the tape drive; I have never had life out of this but I don't know if it is the tape drive or my lack of knowledge.
It has a new battery pack in it and is in origional box with spool of paper, blanking plates, charger (not origional one) etc.
It has had the ROM expansions added"

£30 plus postage
