GENERAL RETRO CHIT CHAT / My Key Gaming Moments.....
« on: July 27, 2011, 08:11:59 PM »
Well i've just introduced myself on the intro section and then thought i'd share my key gaming moments over the years and am keen to know what yours are...

So here's mine: (I've tried to keep in chrono order and stated machine and my gaming moment)...

Commodore Vic 20 (nowt special)
Colecovision (donkey kong & lady bug)
Nintendo Nes (of course super mario bros)
Amstrad CPC464 (dizzy)
Nintendo Super Famicom (super ghouls n ghosts / actraiser / gradius 111)
Nintendo 64 (goldeneye & Zelda “ocarina of time”)
PC Engine (R-Type)
Sega Master system (nowt special)
Sega Megadrive (gynoug)
Sega Saturn (sega rally)
Sega Dreamcast (soul calibre)
Nintendo Game Cube (nowt special)
Nintendo Wii (nowt special)
PS2 (nowt special)
Xbox 360 (nowt special)
PS3 (use really as a media player only)

(When i say nowt special, i guess from memory nothing jumps out)

I guess if i was going to pick my ultimate moments it would be Super Ghouls n Ghosts on the s-famicom (wow spent some serious hrs on that!) and golden eye/zelda on the 64, both awesome gaming moments for me.....

Which makes sense as over the years i have always favoured nintendo over any other system.....

Anyway i've bored you all enough.....

Hey, just thought i'd introduce myself...

My name is Jamie, I live in Bridgnorth (shropshire) and i've been a console addict since my first experience with a coleco (over 25yrs ago now) and guess i have never grown out of it.....Been revitalised recently since my eldest son has started to show an interest in gaming.....

Anyway after a brief search on the internet I came across this site...and here i am.....

Hope to engage in plenty of gaming nostalgia....
