FOR SALE / WANTED / For sale: Retrogamer Magazine issues 1-112
« on: April 04, 2013, 03:30:28 PM »
I have a complete run of Retrogamer Magazine up to #112 for sale, i.e. issues 1-112 inclusive.

I am open to offers for these, so if you're interested, please get in touch.

I live in Skelmersdale in Lancashire, and would prefer they were collected, but would be prepared to deliver them if you don't live too far away, and cover my diesel costs.

Thanks
Jon

FOR SALE / WANTED / Stuff for sale at RCM event this weekend
« on: April 06, 2012, 06:41:59 PM »
Hiya, I will be selling stuff again at the RCM event this weekend. I am going through everything today and just uploaded a list to my website:

http://sites.google.com/site/flickygames/
(please see first downloadable text file, All items for Sale or Trade)

The list is more or less up to date (still working on it) and I'm planning on bringing anything with a price next to it. So... if there is anything you'd like to reserve, do let me know. I will give a discount if you buy a few items. Trades are good too!

I'm also bringing a rare computer to show (a BIT-90) but this won't be for sale I'm afraid.

Look forward to catching up with everyone tomorrow!

Cheers
Jon

FOR SALE / WANTED / Wanted: handhelds & tabletops
« on: March 19, 2011, 01:27:31 PM »
Hi, does anyone have any LCD handheld games or tabletop games to trade?

I'm mainly after 70s and 80s ones and prefer them to be boxed if possible. I'm especially interested in ones by Grandstand, CGL, Epoch, Tomy, Gakken, Bandai, Entex etc

My list of spare stuff is here:
http://sites.google.com/site/flickygames

Thanks
Jon

HARDWARE/SYSTEMS DISCUSSION / Action Max
« on: January 20, 2011, 04:49:26 PM »
I found one of these today:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Action_Max

Has anyone else got one? Interestingly, the one I picked up (which seems fully complete with box) comes with a DVD rather than a videotape.

I am not planning to keep this by the way (no space for any more systems!), so if anyone's interested in doing a trade for it, do let me know.

HARDWARE/SYSTEMS DISCUSSION / 16K Spectrums
« on: May 15, 2010, 03:52:16 PM »
Just been testing a couple of 16K Spectrums this afternoon. I checked the RAM using the method described at www.dataserve-retro.co.uk/index1.html

One of the machines turned out to be a 48K machine that Sinclair sold as 16K due to memory faults! The other had been expanded to 48K.

I was wondering, in your experience, have most 16K models been expanded to 48K? And how rare are the 48K machines sold as 16K with memory faults?

FOR SALE / WANTED / Items to bring to Console Combat
« on: July 22, 2009, 07:55:50 PM »
Hi everyone

I'll have a stall selling retro items at Console Combat this weekend, however I am limited to bringing whatever I (and a couple of willing helpers!) can carry on the train.

If anyone has any special requests for stuff to bring (see for sale/trade lists at www.geocities.com/j.legg), please get in touch soon - I will be packing on Friday evening but can't bring everything. As a rule I would want the eBay going rate minus 10%, but all prices are negotiable.

(woody.cool, blackpanther and witchfinder - the items you requested are all packed)

Cheers
Jon
