Got my PS4 on pre-order, happy that Sony are sticking with what they've done on PS3 with used games. I find MS's stance with a lot of things really arrogant. It seems they've turned into Sony 2005, when they were flogging the PS3 as a multimedia device.
I never did get the attraction of the 360. I just don't like those joypads, i still think they're a horrible cheap thing, with all the comfort of a 3DO pad. The xbox controller S is still my favourite joypad! \Never experience the online stuff with MS, so am happy to stay with Sony especially as PS+ is such a great service these days.
Android gaming is gonna increase for sure, but I'm sure there are enough people who want a full console experience still. Has anyone actually got a OUYA yet? The reports I've heard about it are not great.

Thats 2.5 miles from me, so I have no excuse for not going along! The penalty compo is a good idea, worked well at the 8bitlounge last night, even if i did get knocked out in the quarters! Just have to hope I'm not working that weekend! ;D

Put me down for food as well please  ;) Best go pay for my ticket now too! ;D

@Blackmaiden - damn good price you got them for.

That's just a shocking case of over-charging, but it's a seller's market with complete collections like that.  Heard tales (tall or otherwise) that someone on WoS paid that much for a  pristine set with an Interface 2.

It was this that made me chuckle!!
"If vintage computing is your thing then please check out my other items for retro computer bargains" ;D Hardly a bargain when the opening bid is £839! ::)

Trying to make some space at home so having a clear out. Thought I'd offer this up here first see if anyone is interested. I have a boxed Atari 130XE, tested and working with PSU. £70 ono PM me here if you're interested.

Cheers :)

That's the same weekend as the Arcade High Score competiton at the Lass O'Gowrie (and my 40th birthday :o) I won't be able to make either as I will be in North Korea. There are people who attended RCM & did hi-score last year, so I hope it won't affect attendance too much! :(

I just realised that, depending on what you put in there, I'd probably end up winning my own stuff back :)

That is half the fun Mike - you already know that! ;)
Don't buy any tickets then, just put a monetary donation in, leave the good stuff for the rest of us!!  ;D

Too bad you didn't make it Gaztee.  Nevermind, Thorsten as you may well know more than provides his own vocal support!  ;)  He was right about the event been a lot of fun though.

If you haven't already heard, there's a monthly retro gaming night at the Hare and Hounds pub in Kings Heath. Its called the 8-Bit Lounge. We bring some kick off action but there's lots more besides.  The next one is due to happen Tue 6 December, I think.

I did hear about this at the last RCM meeting I attended in May. I went to the H&H & nobody behind the bar had heard of it! Whereabouts in the pub is it, coz I'd love to come along as long as I'm not working! Work has been getting in the way of my sojourns to the lass recently - it just isn't good enough!! All the info I can get for the H+H will be great :o)

You gotta love Thorsten, he's a great guy. Always interesting to talk to him, as long as he's not wearing that Swansea FC shirt!

Im not interested until the price comes down. (And other things are done to it.  ;D )
Has already been hacked to run the R4 cards!

Not touching this one myself. I just don't 'get' nintendo. On the odd occasion I've bought one of their consoles it just gathers dust! My Japanese DS has hardly been touched since I picked it up on Osaka  :o I know its around somewhere!!
