Put myself and Eleanor down as tentative. Her calendar says we're free that weekend, but you never know between now and then :)

Just going to pay for myself and Eleanor. I'll be there with donations including the big Apple, some sort of touchpad/artpad and the Phillips G7000 that I'm picking up (tomorrow night) as part of my drone+retro gaming bundle :)

FOR SALE / WANTED / Re: HELP with .p65 MAC Pagemaker diagram files
« on: October 04, 2017, 05:22:38 PM »
An alternative would be to set up a virtual machine that simulates a Mac from those years ago? Install Pagemaker (assuming you can find it) from that era and load in the files and save them out as whatever generic formats were available back then?

(Only an idea, just thinking out loud)

Not sure what I'll be doing with mine. Need to get both my DivIDE and DivMMC returned to Ben for fixing first though so that I can play around with them a bit more first.

Snuck in last night and got the souped up version with the Raspberry Pi accelerator on-board. Last time I had looked there was ~200 of these left .. last night this dropped to around 50 remaining, so I'm glad I grabbed one when I could.

CODING AREA / My Word Add-In (v2.0) has been released
« on: November 30, 2016, 08:38:35 AM »
The latest version of my Word add-in, called Mike's Toobox, is now available.

There's a new support website - www.mikestoolbox.co.uk - which has the downloads and the full VBA source code available.

The full list of changes can be found on the most recent blog post on the website,  or read my LinkedIn article: https://www.linkedin.com/post/edit/my-word-add-in-has-been-updated-30th-nov-2016-mike-mee-mistc-

Depending on the size of your wallet, there are three separate versions you can buy.

What's amusing (to me) is that the BBC News article had to explain (for its younger readers) what a floppy disk was :)

Attending a work colleague's wedding that weekend, so can't make it.

I also second the motion to have RCM relocate to Manchester :)

I like this quote at the start:
Quote
Let's recap: the founder of Commodore, running Atari, built a computer designed by former Commodore engineers, which would compete against a Commodore product called Amiga, designed by former Atari engineers, who wanted to replace the Commodore products designed by once-Commodore but now Atari engineers.

Simple enough.
