This week it's been

Atari Klax pcb - working
Capcom Side Arms pcb - graphics corruption
A tonne of EPROMs from Kong Hong to hopefully repair a Do Don Pachi and an ESP Ra De board for a guy on the forum. Expensive repair so am having to charge the owner.

Nice - Klax is just one of those games that I personally love! I remember playing it, I only played the arcade version a few times but loved the Amiga version and played it a lot! ;)

and I look forward to seeing another repair log! ;)

Couple of new bits...

Commodore 16
Atari 65XE + tape and disk drives
Mastersystem Mk1 + loads of games.

Few things have left my collection too. Running out of space.

Got a bootleg Street Fighter 2 arcade PCB today. No idea if it works. Looks like its in very good condition.

Ah bootlegs, the thorn in my side. At least the SF bootlegs werent a 3 tier affair which is nigh on impossible to troubleshoot.

Yes, perhaps I am getting old but more and more features of arcade boards see them fall into my "too hard" basket. Most bootlegs are there now, along with most multi board stacks. Two boards I will consider, three is just a pain.

Just bagged a Sega Dreamcast for £16 plus £2 shipping. Only one game (Ready to Rumble)  but or a £16 i thought it was quite good. Seems to be nice and white too.

Looking for a VGA box now. There's a few on eBay for £20, is that a good price? Most others seem to be about £40. It's the same as the RCM VGA box.

Faulty Air Buster PCB arrived yesterday. Had garbage on the screen and locks up. Turns out there is a GAL controlling the enable lines and A14 lines of some key eproms. No valid dump in MAME so guess its another one for the parts pile  :(
