What's in your slot?
« on: August 20, 2009, 08:56:54 PM »
Following on from Saturdays event, I've been addicted (all over again) to Stunt Car Racer on my Amiga. Just wondering what everyone else has been playing this week?

Regards

Been playing Bounty Bob Strikes Back on the XL. Reason? Because I (and everyone else) played terrible on it at the event.

I've not improved  :D

Can't go wrong with half life 2 and a bit of counter strike.

I have the Half-Life 2 Episode Pack which I no longer use if you want it?

Well, in another 20 odd years Half Life 2 will probably be a classic anyway!

@Stiggy - yeah - got to be one of the best games of that sort! ;)

@Blackpanther - I have the orange box pack - which has HL2, HL2 episode 1 and HL2 episode 2 plus Portal and Team Fortress. Thank you for the offer though mate. ;)

Oh dear - I have to admit to playing Half Life 2 last week as well. But I've also played Breakout on the QL (rubbish) and Heartland on the Speccy.
Tempted to get Tomb Raider 1 out on the PC too...

..Well HL2 seems to be quite popular then. Actually never played it before although the original was pretty cool.

Half Life 1 was simply stunning - I first played that when I had my 5:1 surround sound - I about shit myself when i heard something crawling behind me . . .  and when I turned around in the game a face hugger jumped me! :( - After a quick change of underwear later . . . LOL!

Lol - I had exactly the same experience when playing Doom 3 in the dark with headphones. Damn near had a heart attack ! Never been scared by a video game before....
