If I could collect I'd go up to £15....maybe £20 at a push.....but money is tight here at the moment.

Don't really know what it's worth though

I am not sure how much that is worth, but I would highly recommend using EZ Sniper to place the bid:
http://www.ezsniper.com/?refuser=uk-starship

I have been using the site as long as I can remember. You just enter the auction ID and the maximum amount you want to bid and it places the bid a few seconds before the auction ends. It saves getting into bidding wars with people taking the price up, and also having to remember to place a bid and having to stay awake all hours to place a bid. Perhaps it is cheating - but it works and has won me many auctions I would have forgot about and missed or lost out to by getting into early bidding wars.

Joining gets you 3 free snipes. After that I probably add $25 every 6 months or so - how long this lasts depends on how much you bid on and for how much, but the account will not expire.

If you join using the above link, I also get some free snipes :)

I was thinking around £15-£20 myself. I've asked for more pictures so hopefully the seller will email me some, all going well I'll bid to that
amount.

I am not sure how much that is worth, but I would highly recommend using EZ Sniper to place the bid:

I've used a similiar website to this before but this one looks better. I'll give it a go thanks.

Thanks

First off, have you asked if it works, It does not say in the add and XEs are notorious for their crap build quality and cheap RAM that is the cause of many dead XEs.
That said, I love my 1040XE  ;D and over the last few months I am liking the XEs looks better than the XL. They also have s-video as standard.
I have seen 130XEs go for anything between £5 and £60, it depends on the day I guess.

As for sniping, I have used gixen.com for the last 3 years and never had a problem. It's free too ;D
Good luck

Allready asked them questions so I'll see what reply I get. I have two auctions finishing today so it depends on what money I make as I want them 800 carts off you and (I'm hoping) the SD_Nuxx  :)

If all fails I'll be getting bugger all  :(

well you offered too much for the carts, I'll take £1 each for them as they are all commons, I still need to take a look in the boxOshitetm and see if there is anything else that you may want as well/instead

Or you could just use the free Ebay sniper at www.gixen.com and save yourself even more money...  ;)

Edit: oops, just noticed 1200xl already mentioned this!  :-[

Just had another email from the seller saying that he now works away and cannot offer collection.

walk away then, not worth adding £16 for postage. Better to spend the money on modding your XL to 1meg,stereo POKEY, Covox, multi OS, Svideo ;D

Only got £20 to spend now so even if he did offer collection it would be a no go. Once Retro Reunited is out the way hopefully I'll get some money together to mod my XL  :) and buy a few things for it.
