RCM Wallpapers
« on: September 14, 2009, 12:52:32 PM »
Here are a few wallpapers that I knocked up at Sundown, feel free to download and use.

I've set them up at 1440x900 for now, if there is enough interest I may do some more.

Enjoy!

Very Nice Dave.

Any chance of non wide screen versions for those of us without widescreen displays? (1280x1084)

I know I can adjust resolutions to fit but that would distort the images and I don't want to ruin your work  ;)

That bark one is definitely going on my laptop...

Might poke you for a custom render as my laptop screen has a rather bizarre resolution (1440 x 960 I think).

Use this HTML as your backdrop:

<HTML><BODY>
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
<!--
  var i = new Array(4);

  i[0] = 'img1.jpg';
  i[1] = 'img2.jpg';
  i[2] = 'img3.jpg';
  i[3] = 'img4.jpg';

  function updateImage() {
    d = new Date();

    document.getElementById('backdrop').src = i[d.getDate() % 4];

    window.setTimeout(updateImage, 86400);
  }

  updateImage();

  // -->
</script>

<img src="img1.jpg" width="1280" height="1024" alt="" border="0" name="backdrop" id="backdrop">
</body>
</html>

Replace img1.jpg, etc. with your image filenames and set width and height to the dimensions of your screen. Should update daily, but will wrap to image 1 at the first of the month. Oh yeah, and the HTML file needs to be in the same folder as your images.

Oh nothing.. *whistles innocently in the direction of the unit*.

@billdooruk: Yes. If you bring the machine in question, I'll set up the HTML for you.
