Wheat Free/ Gluten Free
« on: August 04, 2008, 08:30:29 PM »
Some people have asked whether the cakes and other food I make are just wheat free, or if they are gluten free also.

At present as far as I am aware, the only thing that I make that is not gluten free are the Flapjacks. Everything else can been eaten as part of a gluten free diet.

Once we are up and running we plan to list on the menu which diets our food is suitable for.

Hope this helps.

Linda :)

START SEXIST MODE

just make, right, loads of stuff, with extra grease, fry it, fry it some more, then pop the fried bread under the grill
to keep it warm, and put the toast on as I arrive

thanks!

/end.

Heh Heh!
She won't like you for those comments THX1138! LOL!
Seriously though - I know this may sound like creeping but HER FOOD IS FEKKING MARVELOUS, not just the cakes and stuff like that - Everything she puts her mind too tastes wicked!
The Wheat Free Tea Room - when open, will attract a lot of people, whether they are wheat intolerant, coeliacs or what i call 'normal' - everybody can enjoy something in there!

Hmmm, free gluten. ;D

What? I've gotten the wrong end of the stick again?

Then I'll have to bring my own gluten to the party. :(

To be honest, Brigitte made a lemon and lime cake the week before which was superb! The chocolate one was really nice but not as nice as the lemon and lime one! She is certainly taking after Linda in the bakery department!

If someone is allergic to eggs, and trick or treaters egg their house, can they be charged with attempted murder?

Brigitte did no make all the cakes on the open day, she make about half of them , although she did decorate them. She is getting quite competant at them all.
