Operation Wolf Arcade Machine
« on: November 19, 2009, 06:20:35 AM »
$400 (so about 180 quid), full working order, monitor could use a bit of luvin, and is about an hours drive away from me. Its one of the only two dedicated cabs I have any interest in getting and is a bargain for a working cab in such good nick.

 :o :o :o :o :o :o

Trouble is moving the damn thing, and squeeeezing it into my toyroom, and getting Mrs Womble to approve it, I have already used the "its my xmas present" line for this year.

Oh what to do!?!?!

Give Mrs Womble to old 'puppy dog eyes' and tell her how much happier you'd be if that was sitting in the toy room  :P

:-\ Sadly I think it was sold long before I found the posting on the forum, another member PM'd about it but never replied to the reply, so its in the "probably" sold bucket.

Tis a real shame, Mrs Womble didnt care about it at all as long as it was going in the toyroom and not the spare room that I am slowly colonising, an arcade cab in there would be a step to far apparently. It would fit in my toyroom and that was the plan anyway, but it would be a tight fit, I may have had to grease the end wall as well as shuffle things down a bit. If its sold its sold, I shall leave it in the lap of the gods, but one day I shall have one :) If it isnt sold I will be hiring a ute in a flash and heading out east on the weekend tho  8)

The guy who beat me to it seems to have vanished, he popped up and sent an "I'll take it" message to the seller and then hasnt been heard of since, so fingers crossed!

That means something verrrrry different down here, so different in fact that network routers have to be pronounced rowters a'la Yankiestan.

Wakey wakey old thread!

Missing out on this cab 2 years ago always bugged me, and for some reason I had been thinking about it a lot recently. So I threw caution to the wind, dug back through the forum to find out who bought in and sent them a message asking if it was getting horribly in the way these days. Turns out he had been thinking of selling it so a price has been agreed and it shall be mine, unless he chickens out on me.

Gonna hire a ute and go get her this Sunday !!  :D :D :D

Mmmm Op Wolf is a lovely cab. Back in the day when th C64 version was released i modded a Quikshot joystick with a plastic Uzi toy gun (think it was inspired by an article in Zzap64), that's about as close to owning one myself ;D
