Very old 'chunky' laptop free to a good home.
« on: March 02, 2010, 07:56:30 PM »
I'm having a bit of a clear out and was wondering if anyone had a use for a very old laptop?

It's a Tosh Satellite 320CDT

Here's the specs -

A whopping triple quad core Pentium 1 running at 233mhz

32mb of ram

4gb hdd

Floppy and x4 speed CD-Rom

x1 USB port

Lan access is via a Xircom PCMCIAMICIAPCM network card

Win98

12" LCD screen wrapped into a nice chunky case.

Everything is working fine including the mains adaptor and battery etc

Might be useful for someone as a very basic Windows or puppy/DSL linux desktop/server, DIY photo frame etc.

It's pretty heavy therefore so I'll to check postage etc but anyone is more than welcome to collect or if attending, i can bring to the next RCM event? (prob will be going to the one in Sheff too)

Regards

StiGGy

"interparcel economy" = UPS, btw. Thoroughly recommend, and 6.50+vat cant be beaten.

These are damn fine laptops. I still use mine for HDD64/Star Commander use.
