As Lindsay (gingerpenguins) said, I had an awesome time! My only complaint is that the time flew by far too quickly. I'm really looking forward to the Halloween event. :) Some of the highlights:

[.] Having a shot of the Jaguar VR.
[.] Playing the Virtual On coin-op (even though Lindsay hammered me!!).
[.] The Bomberman tournament. :D
[.] Meeting up with and chatting to the other attendees. :)

I can't really think of any negatives. The suggestion of a PA system is a good call, though.

-Matt

Everyone wears a BIG fookin' badge with their name on, cause so many people attend and I don't know they've even been !!!

We gave out badges on the other events , and this time there was a sheet with labels for people to put their name on if wanted.
People who are not members do not want badges for some reason, and when they are paying on the door, sometimes everything is rushed, coz they just want to get in and start playing.

Exactly Woody I totally agree, Introducing yourself to someone and actually making the effort to talk to people may be difficult for some, but everyone is friendly enough at our events to want to have a natter with anyone who approaches them!

not if you're like me, and need to meet people at least 3 times before you can remember their name.

Clearly I'm not a people person  :P

seriously, I'd have been more than happy to have a badge.

Some people are not that confident, especially in a large room full of people that they have never met before. I missed the badges this year

I suppose you're right. I just take for granted that I've gained confidence by attending these events.
When I attended my first ever gaming event (Retro North, back in 2007), I barely spoke to anyone .... I didn't know anybody, and they didn't know who I was .... until I brought an Amiga 1200 out the back of my car ;)
Since then, I've gained the confidence to speak to people at events.

For those are feeling shy, just look for me ..... I'm usually wearing either a Street Fighter II top, or a white top with the Amiga Kickstart 1.3 logo on it. I'm happy to introduce people.
But yeah, I'll wear a name badge anyway, as it's usually good to see people's forum name anyway, as I've spoke to people at events and forgotten their names :o

Ooops - whilst testing out this Asda TV/Monitor of mine, I plugged in the Saturn and found an original Duke Nukem 3D in it from the RCM show.  Is it RCM's or someone else's that was left in my Jap Saturn?

Question regarding the Bomberman tournament that I filmed all of

Anybody want all of it or highlights/best bits of it?
I have about a hour and a half of it and where as it is probably gonna be better than a live action film of it it is a bit long (and hard to crop as I didnt zoom in)
Also who took part in what heat of it? (Who was what player would be even more helpful
Heres my first video of it (as the others are just going to be the different wired games/tech that where there
