Hola!
I'm Aly Web (Alex Webster) and I went school with Spenny way back in 1982. He was one of the lucky few who came to one of my birthday parties where he had a pirate copies of The Empire Strikes Back and some Kung-Fu film followed by chips and beans!!! Living the dream we were!! Can't remember how I got on here, but glad I did! You can find me most days on the 360 (Aly Web). Gaming wise I had the lot, and I wish like most people, I had kept everything I ever had! Could have even set up my own museum!!!

Age wise, I think I was really lucky that the gaming thing more or less started when I was able to do something about it! I remember vividly when I was 10 playing Boot Hill with my brother at Clacton holiday camp! 30 years on its COD or something with my brother online!!! Scary!!! :-)

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry, I should of done this first instead of leaving my opening comment re the link on teletext site Game Central! I'd just like to repeat that I think this site is excellent and it's amazing how all these machines have been researched, photos etc.

I'm originally from Birmingham and then moved to London with the family when I was 5 years old. Some golden memories of playing my mates at various arcade games include 'Street Fighter II', where there would be fierce competition! Then the sheer amazement when 'Virtua Racing' and particularly 'Daytona USA' came out - literally about 50-60 people all looking and playing one machine. I miss that whole magical atmosphere of an arcade.

Brilliant site and I hope to see you all very soon :-)
