Welcome John.

Your name rings a bell from somewhere.... have you released software at some point? submitted a listing to a magazine or something?

Hi John

I'm a big Amiga fan too. I own quiet a few different models, but still like messing with WinUAE occasionally.

Sorry if I've missed anyone out, hello to all new members.

    • The Attic Bug
Hello :o)
« Reply #559 on: April 04, 2010, 10:24:10 AM »
Hi everyone  ;D

The Attic Bug was started by Dave about ten years ago and it all began with a Megadrive... Since then it's grown and grown and grown but when Anna met Dave (four years ago) it wasn't going too well and it was looking like The Attic Bug was set to retire.

Luckily, though, it picked up and we're still here  ;D

Any questions, please feel free to ask!

Hi guys,

My name is Richard Butler. I live in Cambridge and have had an interest in BBC / Acorn computers for many years (I used to write freeware software for RISC OS). I am now in the process of selling some parts of the collection I have built up over the years as I need the attic space. Quite a lot of my Risc PC software has already been sold, but there is a considerable amount left. I will send out a message via the 'For Sale / Wanted' forum re the items, and of course I welcome all queries and interested buyers. Very reasonable prices - just looking for a good home mainly!

Best wishes,

Richard.

Hello everyone,

My name is Mike, I usually go by So Cal Mike in many of the other forums.  I am founder of GameGavel.com a less-expensive alternative to Ebay for gamers.

I am a gamer myself, grew up in the 70's/80's and have had a variety of computers and gaming systems.  Since this is a Retro Computers site I will mention that I started out with a Timex Sinclair 1000 (I am in the USA) and quickly moved onto a C-64 and ultimately to my favorite retro "gaming" computer the Apple IIc.  I loved playing games on the C-64 and Apple IIC, the Timex. . . not so much although I did alot of fun programming on that thing :)

Now I currently have my Apple IIc still hooked up as well as a C-64. I have tons of games for both computers and play them frequently. I have also started collecting full size arcade games and pinball machines.  Living in Southern California I am fortuneate to have weekend swap meets all year long that are a constant source for adding to my retrogaming collections.

Anyway, that is all I have to say.  I will poke my head in here often to see what it happening.

A very warm welcome to Richard and Mike! :)

Take a look at what Richard is selling - very tempted myself with a couple of the bits . . . :)
Mike (GameGavel) will be announcing something very cool soon - please do support him! :) I am sure you will all like it! :)
