Welcome Max

Enjoy the site.

At the end of the show Sunday we put the Spectrum onto the projector and Andy tried Manic Miner...Amazing to watch.

ZX Galaxians on the ZX81 would have been more amusing...

Hello Andy and all the other many retro computer buffs!

Thank you for visiting me today at my workplace. Was great to see you.

Just to introduce myself formally;
I'm REALLY into my ancient Acorn Electron, but I enjoy almost anything retro, especially stuff I was into or admired as a child. I still have all my electronic games for example - nice!

My Electron has LOADS of original games and apps. It's connected to a standard CRT TV via a BBC Micro RGB-SCART lead. The picture quality is fantastic! Almost like using a Microvitec Cub monitor again!! My son (13) enjoys type-ins and he's amazed at the results of his labours; a joy that's largely missing from today's computing.

Looking forward to visiting you and your wondrous collection soon.

Kindest regards from Greg!

Hello Dave,

Ahh yes, amongst those 60 carts is a real gem (well lots of gems actually); Bubble Bobble in particular is a superb arcade conversion.

I notice from your sig that you have an affection for Bub and Bob!!!!! You don't get much cooler than that!!!!!

Welcome to the nuthouse Greg!

Here's an RCM compo using Bubble Bobble - separate from the main one if that's Bomberman - two-player co-op on Bubble Bobble.  Highest score in 5 minutes (if not dead).  But wondering how I can die spectularly quickly in Bubble Bobble as I do so well in Bomberman.... and what prize I'd have to give myself.
