Hi,

My name  is Samantha Proffitt. I only recently got into retro gaming after I was having a dig around in my parents' loft and pulled out an Acertronic console complete with Space Invaders game. I was amazed it still works after all these years.

Currently I own a Sega Master System, a Sega Mega Drive, a SNES, an Amstrad CPsomethingorother (you know the one I mean), a Nintendo Gamecube, the Acertronic and my Nintendo 64. On top of this, my boyfriend owns a PS2 and has the ultra modern PS3.

You guys may remember me as the one with the video camera at the exhibition on sunday.

It should be edited together by tomorrow so I will be able to post it to Andy and let everyone have a look!

Nice to meet you all

Sam Proffitt

Hi Sam and welcome to RCM  ;D

I saw a few people with a video camera, was it you who interviewed Andy and myself?

Already a nice collection you have, also makes me think - I wonder how long before a PS3 is viewed as 'Retro'  ;)

Can't wait to see the edited video!

Is this the lady who had to put up with my barrage of anti-Guitar Hero Beatles rant outside (sorry, if it was you) ... but there was also two other ladies walking around with a video camera and I don't think I upset them (if at all I did) :)

Other than that, welcome to the asylum :)
