Thanks for that - if I've not sorted them before then I'll bring them along. Which reminds me, I need to order a ticket....

Welcome onboard Graham, it is good to have you here!
I will code something with you and gooner - it would be good to do that!
I know quite a bit of code in Blitz and a fair old bit in freebasic too!

Hi, just registered having seen a mention of the 16/11 open day event on gamecentral yesterday. Will definitely be going to it - I live in Staffs. Been  gaming since the C64 days and never really stopped. Got lots of consoles - too many to list really - and a JAMMA cab in the garage. I'm 46 with a couple of teenage lads who've both got 360's. Somewhere down the line I got stuck in the 2D era. Currently playing Metal Slug X on an MVS system in the JAMMA cab - in between re-visiting Zombies Ate My Neighbours on the SNES. Usual story of too many games and nowhere near enough time. I've got plenty of interests outside gaming but gaming history is in my blood and I always come back to it no matter what. Just thought I'd add my support to what you're doing as you're fairly local to me geographically and obviously have the same interests at heart. cb
If you've haven't seen the King of Kong yet you're missing out. It's bril.

I remmy King of boxer was good fun but it was quite hard.
Final Fight was amazing scrolling beat em up.
Mortal Kombat was good game but the best Mortal kombat would be between MK 2 and MK 3....both are excellents!

Hi I am Daniel.

I live in near Doncaster in South Yorkshire.  I found your site whilst looking for information in tuning my Dragon 32 into a new LCD TV.

I have had a few computers over the years starting with the Dragon 32.  I then moved onto the Spectrum +2, Commodore 64, Amiga 500, Sega Master system, Mega Drive/Mega CD, Playstation 1 and 2, PSP, XBOX 360, Nintendo DS and the WII.

From the old computers I only have my Dragon which I want to get working again but am unable to tune it in.

I hope to be coming to your open day.

Regards.

Daniel

I suggest you get a composite cable for your dragon. Thats what I use. Simple to make if you can solder! You need a 5 pin DIN plug, some cable and some phono plugs. I made one and its a massive inprovment!

Thanks for the tip on the cable.  Can you send me instructions on how to make this.   Will I get sound?

I love an excuse to visit our local maplins for bits and bobs.

Thanks.

Daniel
