Hi Everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself.  I'm Commodore16, real name Chris and I created and been running www.commodore16.com from 2004.  So retro gaming is very close to my heart.  Am nicely surprised that your events are not too far away from me as I live between Derby & Burton On Trent.

Anyhow, great to be here.

My name is Kevin. I've been gaming from a very young age, and my main interested lies with Sega consoles. I'm also a HUGE Castlevania fan. I have well over 900 games between all of the consoles that I own. If you'd like to take a look at my collection, then you can check out the My Games section of my Web site, as I've made it a point to keep it reasonably up-to-date.

I live in the U.S., more specifically Pennsylvania. I found Retro Computer Museum while searching the Web for a reputable source for an Atari Jaguar RGB SCART cable, and I've heard that there is one among you whom people venture to from far and wide in order to obtain one of these coveted beasts. :P

Welcome Kevin to our busy website. You have some nice games there mate. As for an Atari Jaguar RGB Scart Cable - you seek Phu - one of our members on here! Very reasonably priced too! ;)
Cheers

Thanks. I've already posted in the appropriate thread to request a cable, and I've sent Phu a PM, as well. As for my game collection, it's something that I've invested a lot of money into (especially for some of those Saturn games - haha), and I'm very proud of what I've amassed over time. I take even my older consoles very seriously, which is why I've recently decided to update the connections for every single SCART-compatible console that I own (aside from my Xbox 360 and Wii, which already have more suitable connector types for my purposes) accordingly, since I'll be able to use those RGB SCART cables with an HDMI upscaler/converter in order to allow me to play at 1080p (or capture at 720p). I realize that a lot of older games (especially on Genesis) relied on horrible video connections to create the illusion of supporting higher color counts during game play, but I'd prefer to see every single pixel as clear as day. :P

Thanks. And yeah, some of them were pretty expensive, but definitely worth the price of acquisition. The games that I'm probably proudest to own are Guardian Heroes and  Panzer Dragoon Saga.

Hello everyone.
My name is Daniel and I found this site with google while searching for an s-video modded atari 2600 to buy!
I joined AtariAge but they are all American pretty much and just have NTSC.

I'm an Aussie and I love all the old consoles and try to collect as much as I can.
Currently I'm on a Vectrex fix and I try to get in at least 10 mins of play time a day :p

Welcome Daniel! Good to have another Aussie on here! ;)
As you can see we are a friendly bunch - and you have already mentioned a special word 'Vectrex' - what a fantastic machine! ;)
Cheers for now!
