« on: August 31, 2008, 10:07:00 PM »
Wow, this new section just appeared as I was browsing the forum.

Am I allowed to link to my online shop which has several used Atari 2600 and Sega Saturn games?

Whoops, I forgot to add them to the database.

There will be Virtua Fighter, Sega Rally and Firestorm: Thunderhawk 2, but I'm a bit short on time to add them at the moment.

But the Atari 2600 games are all up, so if anybody is interested, just sign up and buy :)

I always thought that the barcode battlers flaw was the slot that one had to swipe the codes through. It would have been better if it had a little light pen style reader, like those old VCR's used to use, and like they used to use in the Library, as a lot of barcodes from elsehwere wouldn't read.

I heard that when this was really popular in Japan, some companies that sold junk food started chaning their barcodes to give them better stats in battles.

I never did complete the single player game. I got close, but always got my arse kicked towards the end.

We've got plenty of cheats and tips, and if you get really stuck, I've got a barcode for a hero with the highest stats allowed.

Still, there's nothing like having a proper go, so Kudos up for trying :)

I have just been informed of a minor technical glitch on my online shop which caused problems when trying to pay for stuff - it's fixed now.

Some of the pictures need updating, and I hope to do this tonight.

Finally, some of the catagories are empty, so don't be suprised if the list of Systems, Accessories and Saturn Games return no results.

The shop is now open!

Combatking has a superb range of Atari 2600 games - most of which I would like (but being poor . . .) - please do go and have a look and support him! Very good prices too!

Thanks Andy.

I've updated the pictures, so what you see should now be what you get.

UPDATE!

I sold 6 games this lunch time! Stock is limited, so if you are interested in anything at all on there, buy now before they're all gone!
