NES Cartridge Mod
« on: July 05, 2008, 09:35:14 PM »
Cool idea I wish I had one of these

http://www.slashgear.com/nes-system-squeezed-into-original-game-cartridge-2211275.php

Edit- Found this artical on the NES on a chip. http://tripoint.org/kevtris/Projects/portendo/nesonachip.html
Its a micro that can be scavaged from an old Super 8 which is a peripheral that allows you to play old NES games on a SNES. This little micro emulates the old NES's CPU (Which has a built in APU) and PPU (Which use to be a seperate chip on the original) this leaves only the Input and power supply. Power supply is no problem but the input must be handled by yet another micro. This NES Cartridge mod is actually very advanced. One hell of a mod
