Greetings!
« on: August 26, 2011, 12:13:15 AM »
Hi,

My name is Pete and I hail from up north, where it is said to be grim. Yet to notice that though. I live in Durham with my lovely family, gorgeous wifey, git big as owt son, dog and a small retro computer collection.

I have:-

ZX81, 2 VIC 20, 4 C64 (including my original 1983 machine), Commodore Pet, 2 ZX Spectrum 48k (rubber), ZX Spectrum +2 (grey).

Consoles:-

Atari 2600 (woody sixer), N64, Gamecube, PS1, PS2, Xbox.

Been using computers since I got my C64 at the tender age of 10 (now 38).

I recently donated a few machines to this very museum as a means of trimming and tidying up a tad. My wifey is very understanding but I don't really want to see just how far she'll go  ;D

Will be bringing jnr down with me in November for the game weekend.

See you soon!

Pete.

Hi Pete,

Welcome to RCM :)

As you are a resident of Durham, I would like to ask what is going on with that area round the back called "Pity Me"....

Funnily enough Richard, that area round the back called "Pity Me" is where I call home :-)

It's nice and quite round here but the council have plans for a new housing estate over on the back fields on the other side of the 167 bypass. I'm fighting it though, one of the main reasons I like it here is the greenery pretty much in every direction.

The Carrs are still there, the building work done on there was limited thankfully.

Hi Karl,

I look forward to meeting you too. I take it from your avatar that you're a Discworld fan? Brilliant books, I have pretty much all of them myself  :D
