Nearest decent pub to Snibston for my 42nd birthday drinkies
« on: March 23, 2012, 12:33:45 PM »
On my previous visit to Coalville, I spied a few pubs but none stuck out as being Wetherspoons-type places where the drink can flow cheaply and people can still get back to their hotels/homes etc.

Any recommendations from the locals?  Or, which might be more useful, any places to stay well away from?

All are welcome once we know where we're going to be and at what time.

(For those that don't drink or can't make it, there will be a birthday cake circulating at the event - courtesy of Linda's Wonderful Cake Emporium!)

The Monkey Walk in the centre of Coalville is a 'spoons so quite cheap! :)

Nice one. I'll be able to bring a wad of "50p off real ale CAMRA vouchers" with me to share about :)

Sounds like a plan for a few pintages....
