Spectrum +3e with simple 8 bit interface
« on: June 21, 2012, 08:09:02 PM »
Hi all,
Am currently messing about with the above setup and whilst its fine for writing programs and saving im finding it a little frustrating trying to get a .z80 or .sna file onto the CF card.
Im pretty sure its doable by using emulators but cant for the life of me figure anything out.
Has anyone had any dealing with the simple 8 bit interface or got any ideas?

cheers
Jon

old thread i know but only just came across it while seaching for something else !

Anyway it's a pain in the butt... best way i found was to load said program into an emulator on the PC and take a snap at an appropriate place, save that snap onto a disk ( ms-dos 720K ) ( i have both 3" and 3.5" drives on my speccy ) then use garry's tool on speecy to copy the snap from your disk to the CF / HD

Anyway thats how i do it, would be interested to know if you found a better way
