Hello everybody
« on: September 05, 2012, 01:43:58 PM »
Hi everyone, I'm Anthony from Loughborough.

I found this site after finding out about the most recent event at snibston. I decided to sign in after looking at the site and seeing that it is a UK based site. The event was good by the way and I picked up a C64 from RCM. It's working great thank you and my 4 year old daughter really enjoys playing it.

I've been collecting for a few years now but nothing serious. I'm more into collecting systems than games, it just sort of happened as I didn't sell my old consoles when upgrading.

I look forward to visiting the site more often.

Hello mate,
Pleased that your C64 is working - it was personally tested by myself and a couple of the other RCM guys! :)
Also - it is great to have you on here mate - you will notice that we are a friendly bunch - any help we can give we usually do!
Cheers
Andy

Does the 500th member get a prize? May be 'make a chip' or something similar?  :)

Thanks chaps, seems like a very friendly site so far, and cracking job so far testing the C64 it's faultless!

In fairness my daughter does seem to like games in general but gets on better with the older games. I think it's because they're simpler (for want of a better word). Her favourite so far has been the vectrex, although I only have the built in mine storm at the moment and she doesn't do very well. She is persistent though  :D

I've just noticed I'm the 500th member, can I have a prize please  ;D
