I love the MSX, a much unloved and underrated machine.  I sold my Turbo R and MSX 2 a few years ago but kept a couple of MSX 1s including the classic HX10 with is my favorite.  8)

An MSX2 is still on my shopping list - mainly for all those lovely Japanese series origins.

R-type, Gradius yep they're all great on it especially if they have the SCC Sound chip in the cartridge.
