Virgin Money Giving
« on: July 17, 2013, 10:01:27 PM »
Can I just say a massive thank you to our very good friends Mary and Alex Aris for donating the money to allow the Retro Computer Museum to create an account with Virgin Money Giving. The account will be set up shortly to allow people to continue to support us by donating money with the benefit of gift aid too - this maximises the donation by adding almost 20% to any money donated.

Further details will be posted in this thread shortly . . .

Nice one.

For this month (as in 28th July) you still want the subs going into RCM's account?

Yes please Mike, Payments into the bank account until further notice please. I can do a manual gift aid claim for those payments at the end of the tax year.
Virgin money need to do some checks on RCM before our page can go live.

OK saves me having to change anything whilst abusing the free Lithuanian Wi-Fi next week and hoping there's nothing dodgy sniffing the data as it goes back to the UK :)
