Yep, I can imagine that happening, it's not like there's a great repetoire of games for it !

Lot of games, just most are not the best !

Perhaps I need to dig my copy of this out  ;D

Why on earth would you want to learn Forth? Unless... Have you just got our hands on an Ace or something?

When I had a ZX Spectrum, I loved tinkering around with games but couldn't get my head around sprites and such like, so I purchased White Lightning as soon as I could.

But as it was FORTH-based, I couldn't get my head around it.  It was quietly ditched once I'd read that Ocean were releasing a revamp of it as the Laser BASIC/Compiler suite a few years later.

On my first trip to Munich to see the VCFE show there, they had a competition for all those attending to write a couple of routines in FORTH on their own machines.  Apparently quite a few BIOSes were done in FORTH.
