Spectrum Street Hawk
« on: May 15, 2014, 05:18:22 PM »
This was a long time ago, so my memory may not be entirely accurate but...

Does any remember there being two different versions of Street Hawk on the Spectrum?

I recall playing a type of sideways scroller game similar in feel to Defender and then later a much better version, which involved a top down view similar to Spy Hunter.

If this is correct, have there been any other examples of games which have had a complete make over?

Nightbreed was the arcade game and an adventure.

According to World of Spectrum there are two games:

The original Ocean game: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0004938

Some kind of extra special subscriber version: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0010671
