Assembled Tested & Working CompactFlash Adapter - IDE for 8-Bit PCs! XT CF LITE 4.1

new,tested 100%

no ibm slot 8 compatibility

FLASH EEPROM VERSION XT
If you love old computers, this item is for you! It allows you to use a modern PATA hard drive/CF card with nearly any 8086/8088 or newer computer that has a standard 8-bit ISA slot. Everything from 5150's to Tandy RLX1000's, Model 25's, Model 30's (both 8086 and 80286 of course), and many many many more! Also, since these operate CF cards in 16-bit mode (internally), they are compatible with a much wider range of cards

Special Note: IBM 5170's require a BIOS upgrade to an AMI or AWARD BIOS to utilize this card, due to a weird incompatibility. It's simple, requiring replacing/programming the 2x 27c256 EPROMS (yes, the UV erase ones).
