Title: A Nintendo graveyard (at Bowlers)
Post by: muguk on April 21, 2012, 04:15:47 PM
Saw this box lying on the floor, so had to take a picture :)

There are two other boxes full of more broken GBAs and DSs in various models.  Assuming that, along with the rest of the stuff, a few game console repair shops went 'bump'.

There's also 5+ boxes of old controllers and a smattering of Xbox (original model) and Gamecubes.

Surprised that you didn't grab the contents of the 5 boxes for RCM, Mike ..... if they were going either cheap or for nowt :)

*searches in the pockets of infinite cash and comes up empty*

You can be as surprised as you like, but my bank balance states that such a daft thing is best left to those who are on contract wages and not us office-types.

Theres actually a fair bit of value in those parts
A fair bit of work too though. You can't just melt them down then skim off the gold lol.

No idea where you're based Rewind but there's (at least) 3 boxes of a similar size & depth chock-full of SP & DS bits at Bowlers.

If you are 'oop North' and are forced to go to the Trafford Centre, leave the other half there and bob along to Bowlers :)

may be an option, we've been known to make occasional trips up to the trafford center, although that was BC (before child)
