Title: Greetings from a demoscener :)
Post by: vincenzo on November 16, 2015, 09:03:18 PM

I'm Laszlo from Hungary, currently living in Nottingham, UK.
Please let me introduce myself with a few words: I have 8bit hearth in me since 1990 when I got a C64 from my parents, played games and started to compose music. Then switched to Amiga, later to PC but my brain operates on 8 bits still. Thanks to the good ol' C64 my profession is to compose music and designing sounds for video games. During the years I was an active demoscener (you might have heard about this underground community), produced a lot of music for demos.

My first contact with Andy and the RCM was at Leicester Space Centre where they presented a lot of oldschool machines during a big Star Wars event. I got their number and finally I had the pleasure to visit the museum a week ago.
Guys, it's the heaven. Literally.
Especially if you are a computer geek and demoscener like me.
I've seen a lot of retro stuff but there were some very special and unique machines I've never heard of...

Thanks for accepting my request to join this forum, I try to be a useful and active member :)

I also published some photos I shot last weekend:
