Remute - Technoptimistic [Sega Mega Drive / Genesis MUSIC Cartridge]
PLEASE NOTE - NOT an SD Card cartridge  - a standalone music album on a cartridge.
The first plug and play techno music cartridge album for Sega's classic 16bit console.
Listening on a Sega Mega Drive / Genesis Model 1 is highly recommended, but Model 2 also works - Model 3 and Sega Nomad too. Will also work very well on FPGA-based solutions like Analogue's Mega Sg (a very good option for the audiophile!).
It will not work properly on the majority of clone consoles based on emulation.
Cartridge is region-free and will work well and with correct speed on PAL and NTSC. 100% handmade & tested.

HARDWARE/SYSTEMS DISCUSSION / ZX Spectrum Next - a quick overview
« on: May 01, 2020, 06:36:49 PM »
Hello,
I received my ZX Spectrum Next (Accelerated version) in the first batch and have been playing with it since.
From day one I knew it was going to be something very special. It is up there with having my first Spectrum, C64 and Amiga - in fact in some ways it is better.
You can tell that a lot of time (hence the lateness of delivery) and love has gone into designing this truly wonderful machine.
Obviously having friends that worked on it helped and I did get the heads up on some details - the new version of basic is easily one of my favourites. It makes it very easy to get stuff on the screen.
The Sprite commands, audio commands (all 9 channels), tile maps etc etc are just revolutionary.  I haven't created anything worth of sharing just yet but if anybody is interested I will share some basic code that is VERY easy to follow - either post on this thread or PM me?
There will be a 2nd Kickstarter and when they announce it I will be posting a link on here.
Cheers
Andy

Never heard of this mate - we have several 6128s but never noticed this problem on those? Not good as I don't think anywhere does spares ... yet?

HARDWARE/SYSTEMS DISCUSSION / Re: help about a jupiter ace 4000
« on: January 30, 2020, 04:11:29 PM »
Our Jupiter Ace 4000 at the museum and from what I have 'read' - ours is pretty much the same as yours - towards the end of the company being around they had cases lying around for the 4000 but only had 'normal' Ace motherboards? Ours is even boxed in a 4000 box but inside it is still only a normal Ace.

RCM ANNOUNCEMENTS / Re: Sponsor a Carpet Tile ....
« on: January 21, 2020, 01:11:08 PM »
We are actually thinking of a glitch(ed) carpet - pixels corruption as in tiles ... various colours (!)

As long as they are the same thickness and size etc I can see it looking pretty cool.
