GAMING EVENTS - OPEN DAYS 2019 / Re: Seasonal Event - 30th November
« on: November 02, 2019, 04:51:14 PM »
Sent donation - see you there :)  8)

Donation sent matey - see you all there 😎

I'm interested in one of your IDE podules, if they're compatible with the A3010.

Thanks for adding me to the list. (I think ) It's been a few years since I last visited, I tried to get to the events at Snibston, but I haven't been to the latest building.
It will be good to see if the Amstrad CPC Rom board I donated is working ok (I have an updated Rom with more games and an auto-start menu, if it's wanted)
I normally hang out on the Acorn Stardot forums, and you may have seen that I've been producing IDE interfaces for Archimedes era machines. I'll hopefully have a few boards with me to donate (again, if wanted), I should also have a few spare boards for sale if anyone is interested.
Link to the last batch I sold - Find me on the day if interested.

Donation sent - see you there :)

Donation sent :)
See you on 8th December

I voted "Other" .... we could do "The Friday Trilogy" .... Friday, Next Friday & Friday After Next
Some of Ice Cube's greatest work (if you ask me)

Saying that, I'm a big fan of the Terminator films (huge huge fan) so defo would attend if you showed them, or any of the films listed in the poll above tbh.

See you guys on Saturday & Sunday - I'll be there both days :)

ARCADE / Re: Mortal Kombat secret that was hidden for over 20 years

Nah, this is not a hidden feature as far as I can tell.

You can get this same menu by press your "Test Switch" button in MAME (usually F2 by default)
I suspsect the trick makes the game crash out to the diagnostics menu.

I'll try and make both days, but defo going to be there on the Sunday (7th)
I'm on "phone cover duty" that weekend ..... luckily nobody is working on the Sunday.

I had a great time yesterday. Big thanks to Andy and the team yet again.
I saw some nice stuff, learnt some new stuff, and was entertained by decent machines, games & music.

Donation made, I'll be there :)

I'll be there, I'm really looking forward to it.

Really enjoyed the event, had a great time.
It was great to catch up with you all, hopefully see you on the next one.

Cool, see you there 8)
