Did not mean to sound negative, but it is an odd observation I have noticed over time. I would like to see a good turn out. You have sold more tickets for this, then I have sold for RV so far.

OK, so, I've paid for my ticket (ages ago)

Do we get a proper ticket through the post? or are you just keeping a list of names for when we turn up?

Tickets will be posted out beginning of next week UNLESS you PM me to tell me you want to collect on the day, in which case I will hold onto them for you. (We are not responsible for any loss in the post due to the strikes).  To be able to collect your ticket on the day you will have to show ID (if I don't know you!!) or tell me your ticket number (which I will email/pm to you).

But you quote the original RFC 1149. This has been superceded by RFC 2549, which adds QoS and encryption:

Of course, Pigeon Category 5 is an unreliable medium. Perhaps Andy should consider delivery via a more reliable media?
