Would like one myself. It would also be cool if you could somehow convert it to an original controller.

The user reviews are very mixed. I'd buy one if there was a little more satisfaction.

I saw a Megadrive device with 15 games on it in HMV (it may have been mentioned in here before). It has what appears to be a cartridge slot:

I've seen the one in HMV, made by blitz I think. You can play all regions and only a very small selection of games don't work apparently. Think it
was £40 which seems OK to.

They sell those at Next for the same price. Funny how these big retailers are getting away with selling pirate games :o

noticed that they have the Radica Space Invaders sticks too, they make really good joysticks when you hack them

I have one of those handhelds, only paid £20. There's no SD slot just 15 games built in and thats it.

That other thing I was talking about it this http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets/4-/8922102/Sega-Mega-Drive-Console-With-15-Games/Product.html

Is that the same joystick you had at RCM? How easy are they to hack?

Thanks

The Space Invaders stick is indeed the one that I had at RCM. Really easy to hack as a one button stick. Using it as a 2 button stick for the 7800 needs a couple of resistors adding and use of a Sega 9pin connector

making a pair of wireless ones may take me a bit longer (but it will be done ;D)

They're not pirated games actually - the Blaze/AtGames consoles are officially licensed from Sega. I have the handheld and it's not bad, though emulation is a bit patchy on a couple of the later games like Sonic & Knuckles and Ristar.

Apparently the mini console with the cart slot is not that good - it's probably cheaper to get a proper MD and mod it for all regions anyway!  ;D
