To be honest - I know nothing about it - when is it and where is it happening? Who is organising it too?

It's in Sheffield (Hallam University Student's Union) on April 10th & 11th, £12 per ticket.

Sscott from the Retro Gamer forum's organising this one, with help from Arcadian.

More details here: http://www.retrogamer.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=17209&start=0

There's no official website (doesn't look like there'll be one now) but if anyone wants tickets just PM Sscott on RG.

Unfortunately I'll be flying back from Krakow that day.  But it's all up in the air at the moment due to bloke in work who's paid for this whole thing going through a massive downer about his missus dumping him last year.  He's *still* going on about it and reckons he's going to not go to Download, Sonisphere Poland, High Voltage or Sonisphere UK now.  I've refused to be his agony uncle as he won't like my 'style' ... :)

That's a shame although I'm not surprised as there's been very little advertisement about this event. It feels like its aimed at the RetroGamer forum members only and if wasn't for Rinoa being a member then I'd probably give it a miss.

Bletchly Park? What's that then?

Bletchley Park is going to be a good one - Simon Hewitt is helping organise this . . . for The National Museum of Computers . . .

We have been invited to put on an exhibition etc to help out - looks to be a great weekend! :)

Thanks Andy, I remember seeing a thread about this a while back. If all is good then me and Rinoa will be coming along.

I think it will be a very worthwhile trip - over 1000 people are expected - from a purely personal and selfish point of view . . . RCM will get great coverage! :)
