A dark day in Whitehaven, Cumbria
« on: June 02, 2010, 04:32:22 PM »
For those of you that missed this on the news . . . this really is terrible news . . .

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/10214661.stm

Not the sort of thing you expect to happen in this country - where will this madness end?

My thoughts are with the familes of the deceased and hope the injured people get well soon.

there is a lot of disbelief around here at the moment, like you said, its not the sort of thing that you expect.
i was lucky, my place of work is a fortress with armed guards 24/7, they shut the gates this morning and we were told no one would be allowed to leave until it was over.
crazy world
